Here we list conferences and events which may be of interest to HEG members, whether practise focussed or education-research focussed.

ViCE/PHEC

The joined Variety in Chemistry Education / Physics Higher Education Conference is the annual flagship event for the respective Higher Education Groups of the Royal Society of Chemistry and the Institute of Physics. It is run by an independent ViCEPHEC committee comprising previous hosts and representatives of RSC_HEG and IOPHEG. The conference website has up-to-date information on the current conference plans.

MiCER

Methods in Chemistry Education Research is an annual event for pedagogic researchers in chemistry and has been supported by HEG since its inception in 2016.

MoRSE

Methods of Research in Science Education is a one day conference that provides useful and usable information to those working in education about the processes of ‘doing’ educational research. The audience typically comprises teaching focussed academics with an interest in educational research and research informed teaching, postgraduate students, and teachers (including those doing postgraduate degrees).
